Students are evaluated by teacher observation.
UKG TO IX CLASS
The CBSE system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is followed.
Term I: Formative Assessments I and II, Summative Assessment I

Formative Assessments include tests, projects, assignments and practical activities. (See ‘Formative Assessments’ below.)
Summative Assessments are Term end examinations.
FORMATIVE ASSESSMENTS
Formative Assessments include many ways of testing children, not just pen and paper exams. This includes projects, assignments, quizzes, debates, dramas, etc. The aim is to assess the student’s development in a wide range of areas, which are relevant to the global challenges and skills race of today. These are all graded and count towards the final results.
Given activities, projects, assignments and record books must be completed by the students on time.
GRADES
In accordance with CBSE directives, all students will be awarded only grades to judge the merit of each student. There is no ranking.
PROJECT MATERIALS
We endeavor to do most projects within School time, to give teacher guidance and to ensure that it is the child’s own work. For this to work well, parents are requested to send any required resources to School on time. Intimation will be given well in advance.
EXAMINATION ATTENDANCE
The School will give the examination schedule at the beginning of the year. It is compulsory to sit the examinations at the given examination times.
SLIP TESTS
Slip tests are now known as ‘assignments’ and are conducted at the end of each lesson. Assignment marks are a part of the Formative Assessments
SPORTS / CLUBS / EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Sports, clubs and ECA are an integral part of education in this School. All students are expected to participate in them for all round development.
